Located in Gloucester City, NJ 

Established December, 1919 by the Atlantic City Court Stella Maris No. 288.  Named for Father Charles Giese, who was Pastor of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in the early 1900's.

Our Mission Statement:  Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.

Regular business meetings of the Court are held on the First Tuesday of the month - September through May at 7:00 pm.

Circle of Love Activities


Spiritual Enhancement = liturgies, church ministries, prayer and reflection.


Quality of life = apostolate, sunshine committee, homeless & hungry.


Youth = sponsor softball team, annual prolife in Washington, DC.


Education = scholarships GCHS & Jr. High, education contest.
